Our final in this week’s San Francisco showcase on what a city can do to clean up its environment.

Green Meetings

The San Francisco Mart will host a green trade show during Sept. 19-20. Live Green, Live Well is the first green trade and home show and should have some great ideas for business on how to turn greener.

Then EASE (Environmental Accountability for a Sustainable Earth) will holds its annual conference at Fort Mason over 16-18 November. This will look at energy sustainability. Next year there is a range of green conventions including the Ecocity World Summit in April; the Slow Food Nation in May.

Best of all for business, the ‘Green Business Program’ is a voluntary program that encourages businesses to make environmental changes to their operations. Check it out on www.sfgreenbiz.org
