The NFIB Young Entrepreneur Foundation announces its fourth annual scholarship program for high-school seniors, now known as the NFIB Young Entrepreneur Awards. This scholarship program is designed to set teen small-business owners on the path to entrepreneurship. Nationwide, at least 400 recipients will attend the university, college, community college or vocational/technical institute of their choice with $1,000 in tuition assistance from the NFIB Young Entrepreneur Foundation. One outstanding student will receive a $10,000 award, and four regional winners will receive $5,000 each.
Does your local high school participate? While students from across the country have participated in the program in the past, many high schools remain unaware of the Young Entrepreneur Award program. Please help NFIB ensure that your local high school and its students can take advantage of this scholarship opportunity. You can contact Chantel Bartlett to have packets sent to the school, or she can send them to you so that you can deliver them yourself. It's a great PR opportunity for you and will help the Young Entrepreneur Award program cut through the clutter that arrives in the scholarship office of most high schools this time of year.
