I am sorry to hear of your experience with RingCentral and glad to know that it worked out OK for you. I am still a very happy customer -- have been since 2007 -- and will continue to recommend their service.

Update on what happned ...

So it does appear they have a lot of problems. It may be b/c of the Philippines, I don't know.

The manager from the Philippines said she sent an e-mail to the manager in the US to call me, but he's saying he didn't get anything.

Today I finally got someone in the Philippines to have him call me & he did within an hour or two after I found out that Robert Richardson is the Sales Director & said I wanted him to call me.

Anyway, Dave DeMink was the manager I spoke to & he was very nice. He offered me something I could live with & I hope there won't be future issues.

I'm off to call tech support about my ported phone number. It seems to have arrived already & that's less than a week after porting it, so I'm kind of shocked it arrived so quickly.

Dammit, I should know better & GOOGLE a company before I sign up. I literally just signed up a few days ago & already have had tons of problems & I paid for a year in advance too.

Believe it or not, I found a really good manager in their Filipino office, it was the sales rep in the States who's a total blank. Nice, but she either lied to me or is not very smart or a combination of both. She also told me there was no cancellation fee.

I've spent around 4-6 hours already dealing with issues because of Ring Central. She's given me misinformation that caused problems & now I'm waiting for her manager to call me b/c my list of issues keeps growing. He was supposed to call today, but NOTHING.

I hope to god I don't start losing business because of this. While their user interface looks awesome & I'm all about quality, what happened with that sales rep & the fact that I couldn't get anyone from the US office on the phone when I was trying to purchase speaks volumes.

How can you be a large company & no one picks up the phone?

Yes I know, I was stupid to sign up with them after waiting for the sales rep for almost 3 hours, but she came up with some explanations & I trusted her.

If I don't get a call from a manager by Monday, I'm going to cancel & get my money back. Me & my assistant have spent countless hours setting things up. Our time is worth a lot of money to us.

This is unacceptable behavior from a company this old.
