David Friedman and FourScore Productions Presents GODOT HAS LEFT THE BUILDING; Previews begin...

NEW YORK -- "Cheeky and fresh...gets audiences thinking anew." - Los Angeles Times

David Friedman and FourScore Productions present the New York premiere of GODOT HAS LEFT THE BUILDING, a play written by John Griffin. Featuring Edward Griffin, Bert Gurin, Gabriel Gutierrez and

Scott David Nogi, GODOT HAS LEFT THE BUILDING comes to the Culture Project after a critically acclaimed run at The Lex Theatre in Los Angeles. Directed by Will Pomerantz, the play revisits many of the questions and themes once posed by Samuel Beckett in Waiting for Godot, while posing new ones brought about by the state of modern day affairs. GODOT HAS LEFT THE BUILDING begins preview performances on Friday, June 16, 2006 at 8pm. Opening Night is Thursday, June 22, 2006 at 7:00PM at 45 Below Theatre (45 Bleecker Street at Lafayette). This limited engagement will play through July 9, 2006.

Godot Has Left the Building follows the trials and tribulations of two men, Sebastian and Joe, who seem to be the only people alive in a landscape of broken computers and the detritus of modern life. Watch as they comically struggle to find meaning in their own micro-world, and the larger world around them.

Godot Has Left The Building will play the following performance schedule at 45 Below Theatre (45 Bleecker Street): Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday at 8PM, & Sunday at 3PM. There will be no performance on Monday, July 3, 2006. Ticket prices are $15.00 and can be purchased at Ticketmaster (212.352.3101 or Theatermania.com) or in person at The Culture Project Box Office (45 Bleecker St. at Lafayette). Tickets are also available one hour before show time at the box office. For more information visit www.fourscoreproductions.com.
