IBC-Houston expands presence in Galveston

As part of the bank's biggest branch network expansion since its market entry in 1997, International Bank of Commerce - Houston, a subsidiary of International Bancshares Corp., has opened its first traditional branch in Galveston in the Piazza Blanca shopping center. This new location will be IBC's

second seven-day branch in Galveston, and will mark IBC's 20th location in the greater Houston area. IBC plans to add an additional five branches in the region by the end of the year.

As part of the bank's continued expansion throughout the Galveston County area, IBC will also soon be opening branches in the League City/Dickinson area and along Grand Parkway/Kingsland Boulevard, in Katy. Additionally, IBC currently operates branches in nearby Friendswood and Clear Lake.
