Info Systems Inc., a technology infrastructure firm, has acquired Innovative Technology Partners, a Springettsbury Township-based ebusiness company.
Innovative Technology Partners employs 15 workers. The 1-year-old company projects revenues of $5 million in 2001, said Kevin Detsch, president.

Detsch explained that he wanted to grow his company, but he didn't want to spend the time and the money to do so. "Info Systems already has the infrastructure in place to help us improve," he said.
Detsch worked for Inacom, which had an office in Swatara Township, for 15 years before starting Innovative Technology Partners. Inacom, an Omaha, Neb.-based company that provided computer consulting, training and maintenance for businesses, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in June 2000 and closed, Detsch said.
Info Systems' current revenues are more than $80 million. The 18-year -old company employs about 350 workers.
Wilmington, Del.-based Info Systems helps companies integrate voice, data and video, and the way this information is distributed, stored and managed. The firm has offices in York and Philadelphia, as well as Columbia, Md., and Dover and Wilmington, Del.
Bill Stephano, corporate marketing manager for Info Systems, said the merger enables Innovative Technology Partners to act as a "onevendor solution" for all its clients' needs. The two companies offer similar services, Stephano said.
Innovative Technology Partners will keep its name, operating as a division of Info Systems. Innovative Technology Partners does business at 3540 Concord Road, York.
