in early June I attended a "no strings attached" Ahead Software press event at Bouley in New York's trendy Tribeca. Knowing full well that there's no such thing as a no-strings attached invitation only press event, I went for the free lunch.

Ahead marked the day with two announcements related to now-shipping products: a new partnership with Simple Star to produce Nero PhotoShow Elite, a versatile image management tool; and Nero 6 Ultra Edition Reloaded, an updated version of the company's flagship "digital media solution."
