Nominations needed for LI business award

The Long Island Capital Alliance is looking for nominations for its Herman Fialkov Business Person of the Year Awards.

The four categories for the award are life sciences, manufacturing, real estate and technology.

"This year we are giving four awards to acknowledge those within

the community who have made an impact on their business as well as growth of the Long Island economy," LICA Chairman Jeffrey Bass said in a statement.

To nominate an individual, submit the industry category, a 75- word description of about the nominee and a few lines about why that person deserves the award, as well as a list of benefits that person's work caused customers.
