Donald Trump and Long Island restaurateur join forces to launch facility at Jones Beach State...
Real estate mogul Donald Trump and local restaurateur Steven M. Carl are joining forces.
The duo issued an announcement that said they are launching "Trump on the Ocean," a dining and banquet facility at Jones Beach State Park.
Carl, who operates the Carlyle on the Green at Bethpage
Todd Shapiro, spokesman for Carl, wouldn't expand beyond the announcement.
Trump and Carl are scheduled to participate in a 1 p.m. announcement event on Thursday at Jones Beach's Central Mall. Bernadette Castro, commissioner of the New York State Department of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation, will also be on hand.
