Five Things you didn't know about Frank Corso

1. He's counseled Long Island business owners through such entities as the U.S. Small Business Administration, and he consults with clients across the country about franchising and financing. Corso also teaches entrepreneurship, business plan development, raising capital and marketing at Suffolk

2. During his downtime, he enjoys skiing with his family in upstate New York.

3. His skiing days date back to his youth, when he served as an instructor at the High Point ski area in the Town of Huntington. Once a recreational attraction, the site is now a condo development.

4. During the warmer months, you can find Corso canoeing in Delaware or rafting down the Lehigh River in Pennsylvania. Corso's favorite time of year: autumn, when the foliage is brightly colored and municipalities release the dams, causing the rapids to become more challenging.

5. He serves on the board of the American Kidney Fund, which he joined two years ago. Corso concentrates on fundraising. It allows me to give something back, he said about working for the organization.
