The Princeton architectural firm CUH2A will design laboratory facilities to contain highly dangerous pathogens in the former Soviet republics of Kazakhstan, Georgia and Uzbekistan. The facilities will be part of the Bioweapons Proliferation Prevention Program managed by an arm of the U.S. Defense

Department. CUH2A is designing the labs as a subcontractor of Bechtel National. Construction of the first laboratory is to begin in Almaty, Kazakhstan in mid-2005.
