La. governor's race posted on Internet

The Council for a Better Louisiana, a statewide, nonpartisan organization, has set up a Web site at www.cabl.org designed to educate voters on the issues before the Oct. 4 primary election and the Nov. 15 runoff. It includes standard interviews with each candidate and briefs on issues facing Louisiana

such as public education, crime and coastal erosion. The site also offers candidate phone numbers and links to their Web sites.<P>Barry Erwin, CABL president, said the council set up the site because it feels educated voters promote progress in the state. <P>
