Wind Energy Systems Technology and GT Energy to jointly develop offshore wind power in Gulf

New Iberia-based Wind Energy Systems Technology and New Orleans- based GT Energy, have agreed to jointly develop up to 500 megawatts of offshore wind power in the Gulf of Mexico.
Wind Energy Systems is a wind power development company. GT Energy is an environmental finance and brokerage firm that develops and markets renewable energy. The companies will develop renewable energy projects and market energy to power producers. The timing and number of projects have not been finalized.
