Northrop Grumman Ship Systems awards $1.2M contract to API Electronics

Northrop Grumman Ship Systems of Los Angeles has awarded a $1.2 million contract to API Electronics Group Inc. of Hauppauge, N.Y., to manufacture four Visual Landing Aid Lighting Systems. API has begun manufacturing and the order was received by its wholly owned subsidiary, TM Systems. Northrop Grumman Ship Systems has the option to purchase eight additional Visual Landing Aid Lighting Systems, which would bring the total value of the contract to $2.8 million. The lighting systems are destined for U.S. Navy ships being built at Northrop Grumman Ship Systems Avondale Operations.
