Men's store owner suits these women just fine

The Fairfield Men's Store has done such a good job for its male clientele that clients' wives - impressed with the quality and workmanship of the custom-made garments - are availing themselves of what used to be strictly a men's domain: bespoke clothing.
"When other women come up to you and ask you where you bought a suit, you know you're wearing something that no one else has," said Eleanor Gosse, president of EBG Marketing Associates Inc. in Fairfield. "I get complimented all the time."
Gosse was so impressed with the jackets and suits her husband, Roy, had made there that she asked style consultant and owner Naresh Mansukhani if he would make a pants suit for her.
Mansukhani is one who can wax poetic describing the warp and weft of a super 180 lightweight wool and the number of microns that make up the different blends of fabric.
"You realize what that means," he said. "If this fabric weighs 7 ounces a yard and it takes 4 yards to make a suit, what you're wearing weighs 28 ounces, or less than 2 pounds."
