TOP 50 minority owned companies: tech, translation firms comprise top three for growth.
Denver-based consulting and IT training firm Adventos LLC has earned the title of top grower among the Top 50 Minority-Owned Companies ranked by ColoradoBiz, with a year-over-year revenue increase of 196 percent. The 3-year-old company posted revenues of $1.25 million last year, compared with $423,000 in 2005.
Joining Adventos in the top three for growth were Global Technology Resources Inc., a Denver-based computer-networking reseller whose revenues of $92.5 million last year represented a 120 percent increase over the previous year; and Syntes Language Group, a Centennial-based provider of translation and interpretation services that last year posted revenues of $1.8 million for a 73 percent increase.
Firms in the ranking must be at least three years old to be considered for the top-grower distinction. This year's top growing companies will be honored at the 13th Annual ColoradoBiz Minority Business Breakfast, July 24 at the Seawell Ballroom of the Denver Center for the Performing Arts.
