Attention Getters has purchased Gold Camp Promotions.

The company will continue to provide promotional products and gifts and expects to offer a custom mail-order catalog for spring 2007.

FAC receives grants for capital

The Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center has received donations totaling more than $1 million from two Denver based foundations.

The Gates Family Foundation has awarded the FAC an $800,000 grant for the expansion and renovation of center. The grant is contingent on the FAC raising the balance of its capital goal of $28.4 million.

So far, the FAC has raised $23 million.

The Boettcher Foundation also is donating $250,000 toward the expansion and renovation efforts.

The FAC will name the community conference room in the wing of the new museum after the foundation.

When construction is complete, the building will expand from 88,388 to 132,286 gross square feet.

New features will include a permanent collections wing and traveling exhibition wing, events spaces, an expanded museum shop, theatre restorations, a dedicated rehearsal studio and an education wing featuring five studios.

FEI elects board officers, directors

The Colorado Chapter of Financial Executive International has selected officers for its Board of Directors for 2006-07.

They are: Bob Scholz, president; Leslie Karnauskas, past president; Ron Kucic, first vice president; Jim Grenfell, second vice president; and Paula Rosson, treasurer.

Directors include, Paul Luck, Philip Varley, Cathy Anderson, Pete Roden, Howard Potter and John Colgan.
