Plan to Kill Sick Deer Heightened in Wisconsin.

Apr. 24--In a new push to rid Wisconsin of a fatal brain disease in deer, state wildlife officials endorsed a plan Wednesday that would at least double the size of the controversial "eradication zone" near Madison, where every deer is to be eliminated.

The targeted area in southwestern Wisconsin where chronic wasting disease has been found would cover more than 874 square miles of rolling hills, farmland and dense forest around Mt. Horeb, according to officials with the Wisconsin D
