REMINDER...for Wednesday (Dec. 20)
EVENT: Santa Claus and the Salvation Army of Greater
Philadelphia deliver toys to more than 50 day care
children.
Local companies, schools, churches,
and stores
including Boscov's, BJs, Starbucks, and Ames, have
placed "Angel Tree" ornaments decorated with festive
tags listing a child's gender and age on-site
throughout the holiday season for children in need.
Customers select an ornament and purchase a gift for
the child listed.
The Salvation Army hopes to provide gifts for 10,000
"little angels" this year.
The Salvation Army is still in urgent need of toys and
financial donations. Those interested in donating new,
unwrapped toys can deliver toys to the Salvation Army
