Renal Care Group Acquires Dialysis Programs in Denver, Colorado.

NASHVILLE, Tenn.--(BW HealthWire)--Sept. 6, 2001

Renal Care Group, Inc. (Nasdaq/NM:RCGI) today announced that it has acquired the outpatient and home dialysis programs of Healthcare of the Rockies, LLC of Denver, Colorado. The acquired

programs provide dialysis services to approximately 275 patients in two outpatient dialysis centers. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

The transaction will further expand Renal Care Group's presence in the West, where it currently has operations in Alaska, Arizona, Idaho, New Mexico, Oregon, Texas, and Washington. Medical directors for the program will be the nephrologists of the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center and Colorado Kidney Associates. Colorado Kidney Associates will retain an ownership interest in the programs.
