Panacea Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is pleased to announce that it has appointed Christopher Kircher, M.D. as Chairman of its Medical Advisory Board.

Dr. Kircher is currently the principal investigator for on-going clinical trials in multiple sclerosis, migraine, and others. He is the originator and principal investigator for the Community Hypertension Screening Program at the Linder Center for Cardiovascular Research as well as an investigator and neurologist for the carotid artery angioplasty and stenting study at the Christ Hospital in Cincinnati.
Dr. Kircher is a frequent invited speaker and lecturer for companies such as Glaxo-Wellcome, Novartis, Biogen, and Merck on subjects ranging from Alzheimer's disease to hypertension to Parkinson's disease.
Dr. Kircher has served or currently serves as a consultant or advisor to Novartis, Merck, and Glaxo-Wellcome. He is a medical advisory board member for Auburn Medical Imaging. Dr. Kircher was formerly Chair of the Medical Advisory Board for Nymox Corporation and currently holds this position for Alzheimer's Corporation.
Dr. Kircher received his medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine and completed his internship at St. Joseph Infirmary in Louisville, a junior neurology residency at the University of Minnesota Affiliated Hospitals, and senior and chief residencies in neurology at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. Dr. Kircher is board certified and licensed in both Ohio and Kentucky.
