Caprius Announces Successful Launch of Aurora JointVenture At Englewood Hospital and Medical...

WILMINGTON, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 22, 1998--Caprius, Inc. (Nasdaq: CAPR) announced today the successful launch of its Aurora(R) system at Englewood Hospital and Medical Center.

The Aurora(R) system has been operating for approximately one month and is experiencing robust patient

throughput. In addition, the Medical Center has been receiving reimbursement for procedures that management believes will result in significant revenues for Caprius. The recent grand opening of Caprius' first joint venture in the New York metropolitan area was widely publicized and highlighted in news media and print.
