Ministry of Economics of Oman releases subscriber figures for telecommunications services.(OMAN)

Oman's Ministry of Economics has revealed the telecommunications-related subscription figures for March 2007. Incumbent Omantel's landline user base was 268,153 by the end of March, with 84 percent of these being postpaid subscribers. The remaining 16 percent were users of the Sahl prepaid service.
