SAN MATEO, Calif. & LONDON -- Glu Mobile (formerly Sorrent, Inc. and Macrospace Ltd.), a leading creator and global publisher of mobile entertainment, today announced that prominent video game industry executive Chris Meredith has joined the company as vice president of publishing for EMEA.

Meredith has spent more than 20 years in management positions at leading entertainment companies, including numerous senior positions at Sony Computer Entertainment in both Europe and the US, where he was responsible for marketing and the profitable progression of Sony's entertainment software business. He has also held positions with MicroProse and 3Dfx Interactive and was integral in the formation of GameOn Mobile, a mobile entertainment company owned by EON Digital Entertainment, a British interactive games publisher.
