Students win 'bet' on college with 'Tennessee Scholar Dollars'

The Tennessee Education Lottery Scholarship program has already aided
hundreds of Memphis City Schools students obtain the needed funds to attend
either a four-year college or a two-year community or technical
institution.

The Tennessee Scholar Dollars offers students several kinds of awards and
grants:

The Tennessee HOPE Scholarship is a $3,000 annual award for a four-year
college or $1,500 two-year school. HOPE scholars may additionally qualify
