SunnComm, BMG take copy protection to the max.(industry news)

While the RIAA is busy issuing subpoenas against Kazaa users whom they suspect of trading thousands of songs--with potential damages of $750 to $150,000 for each file hanging in the balance--the music conglomerates themselves are working more quietly to stem the piracy tide, One of them, the Bertelsmann Music Group (BMG), enlisted the help of SunnComm Technologies' MediaMax CD-3 to protect the content on upcoming releases.
