MainConcept, a leader in multimedia technology, has announced that muvee Technologies has licensed MainConcept's MPEG-1 and MPEG-2 encoders for use in its newest product, muvee autoProducer DVD Edition. The encoders enable users to save and share their productions in high quality MPEG-2 format ready for DVD authoring and MPEG-1 format for VCD. Also included in the license are MainConcept's MPEG and DV decoding technology, providing high quality playback for previewing and transcoding.
