Film and video industry in Hong Kong is reportedly planning to petition the Commerce, Industry and Technology Bureau to include rental copyright charges for DVDs and Video CDs (VCDs) in the Copyright Ordinance. Rental rights used to be in place before introduction of VCDs and DVDs.
