German arm of Universal Pictures Video (UPV) is considering introducing three-month DVD rental window for titles from German independent Prokino. Major recently secured video distribution rights to nine-movie package of independent's titles. Rental DVD of agreement's first release, November's Base II, will be day-and-date with VHS rental.
