Global release dates shift Italian festival.

Increasing use of global release dates for high-profile event movies is having a unexpected side effect on film festivals. Italy's Taormina Film Festival, traditionally held in July, has moved next year's event to late June in order to better fit in with planned release schedules of Hollywood major films. Taormina's section of English-language fare, one of festival's focus points, is obviously sensitive to impact of global release schedules as all will be US-produced English-language movies.
