Unapix Films' 'My Brother the Pig'Begins Principle Photography.

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 23, 1998--Unapix Films, a division of Unapix Entertainment, Inc. (AMEX:UPX) has begun principle photography on the family comedy "MY BROTHER THE PIG," a co-production with Brimstone Entertainment, announced Unapix Films President Robert Baruc, executive producer of

the film. Unapix Films Senior Vice President of Production, Deborah Thompson-Duda, will oversee the project, part of Unapix's slate of 12 theatrical films for 1999. Brimstone will handle foreign sales.

Judge Reinhold ("Beverly Hills Cop" series), Scarlett Johanssen ("The Horse Whisperer"), Alex D. Linz ("Home Alone 3"), Eva Mendez ("Night at the Roxbury") and Romy Walthall top the cast in a story about a boy who turns into a real, live pig after encountering some magic crystals. His sister, her nerdy friend, her young nanny and her grandmother try desperately to concoct a potion to make him human again. MY BROTHER THE PIG also introduces Milton in the title role (Babe's second cousin on his mother's side).

Eric Fleming is directing MY BROTHER THE PIG from a screenplay by Matt Flynn. Michael Stone is Director of Photography. Phil Botana, Scott Vandiver and Dan Reardon are the producers.

Leading independent film and entertainment lender Imperial Entertainment Group, a division of Imperial Bank, is providing the financing.
