NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 13, 2000

4Kids Entertainment Inc. (NASDAQ: KIDE) announced today it has been granted permission from the Association of Frankfurt Securities Dealers to begin trading on the Third Market Segment of the Frankfurt Exchange effective

March 8, 2000.

We look forward to our role in furthering this cross-cultural phenomenon," stated Al Kahn, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of 4Kids Entertainment.

Commenting on the listing, Joseph Garrity, Chief Financial Officer, said, "4Kids Entertainment's expertise in extending popular brands throughout worldwide media has made 4Kids an international investment opportunity. We will certainly consider additional foreign listings for 4Kids shares in markets where consumer and investor demand is greatest."
