LOS ANGELES--(ENTERTAINMENT WIRE)--Jan. 30, 2002

Ritek Global Media today announced that it has entered into a long term agreement with Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment to be Fox's exclusive DVD manufacturer in its international territories.

This agreement continues Ritek's expansion in the worldwide DVD market and the start of its relationship with Fox.

According to figures compiled on behalf of the DVD Entertainment Group, 138 million DVD movies and music video titles shipped in the fourth quarter of 2001, more than an 80% increase over the same quarter in the previous year. More than 364 million DVD units were shipped in 2001 bringing the total number of units shipped since launch to 675 million.

Rick Marquardt, Ritek Global Media's CEO, stated that the network of international DVD facilities is already exceeding expectations and Ritek is currently increasing its DVD mastering and replication capacity.
