The Interactive Media Company Hires Two Accomplished Television Executives to Help Expand the Small-Screen Market for Premium Text Messaging Services

As executive vice president of media development at Telenor, Reagan Ramsey will work with media companies, cable organizations and television networks to find the most effective programs for introducing text messaging. As vice president of sales and marketing, Vanessa Vigar will develop relationships with media partners and brand managers of consumer products to introduce the concept of building premium text messaging into their programs and/or marketing campaigns.

Telenor provides innovative services that allow consumers to interact with television and radio shows or even with their favorite products and services via premium text messaging using their mobile phones. Among Telenor's interactive services, consumers can text in votes and comments and participate in polls, which can provide new revenue streams for companies that receive a share of each premium text message sent.

Also, Ramsey has served as vice president of media development for Frank N. Magid Associates, developing media properties abroad in the United Kingdom, India, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and South Africa.

Previously, Vigar held the position of director of sales and marketing at Van Dusseldorp & Partners in the Netherlands, a digital media information and research company that specialized in mobile messaging and its integration within television programs and show formats.
