International Charity Solicits Sponsorship for Premier Event,

Targets Preservation of Indian Film and Cultural Heritage

The Carver International Project, a California-based

public service organization dedicated to preserving and promoting the cultural heritage of South Asian countries, among other causes, has been selected to present the fifth international Bollywood Movie and Fashion Awards 2003. The Bollywood Movie and Fashion Awards are two of the largest South Asian events outside of India. Backed by the multibillion dollar entertainment industry that takes its name from Bombay and Hollywood, the Bollywood Movie and Fashion Awards will be held May 2nd and 3rd at the Trump Taj Mahal Casino Resort in Atlantic City, New Jersey and will be broadcast to over 250 million people worldwide.

The Carver International Project was chosen as the presenter of Bollywood Awards 2003 based on its reputation as a worldwide charity and its desire to help preserve classic Indian films -- many of which are in danger of being lost or destroyed. Carver International plans to offer corporations and individuals a variety of tax-deductible Bollywood Awards 2003 sponsorship packages, with a portion of the proceeds targeted to fund cultural heritage and other projects around the world.

Kamal Dandona, Bollywood Awards 2003 Inc. chairman, said, "Indian movies are the eternal bond between thousands of others like me and our roots, which have their foundations in the memories of our motherland. It is the magnificent medium of Indian Films which are an enduring link between Indians abroad and their country back home. I am impressed with The Carver International Project's desire to preserve and promote our cultural film heritage."

Marge D'Wylde, filmmaker and director of cultural heritage and communications for The Carver International Project, said, "We believe that by helping to preserve India's cultural film heritage for future generations, we can stimulate philanthropy and help break the cycle of poverty in this and other South Asian countries.
