CHATSWORTH, Calif. -- Image Entertainment, Inc. (Nasdaq:DISK), a leading independent licensee, producer and distributor of home entertainment programming in North America, today announced it has completed post-production for "The Hunt," a thriller being co-produced with Graymark Productions
The film is being directed by Fritz Kiersch, who directed the horror classic "Children of the Corn," and features veteran film and television actor Cliff De Young.
"This film is a well-scripted horror thriller that will put audiences on the edge of their seats," said Barry Gordon, senior vice president of worldwide programming of Image Entertainment. "Fritz Kiersch has worked his magic to create something compellingly unique."
In the film, bow hunting enthusiast Jack Hamberg, his eight-year-old stepson Clint and former news cameraman Atticus Monroe are on a mission to make a deer hunting video. All that is needed to complete the video is a "kill." Jack and Atticus reluctantly decide to trespass onto a nearby property where there may be more abundant prey. Once inside the restricted area, they come upon some frightening realizations. The hunters have become the hunted. Only one comes out alive with the tapes that captured the horrific events that transpired while on "The Hunt."
