Rio Gets MTV's Cash, Universal's Content.(RioPort's digital music software, MTV...

RioPort, the downloadable music division of Diamond Multimedia, announced July 20 a partnership with Viacom's MTV Networks Online. The companies will work together to promote the digital music platform RioPort is building with Intertrust Technologies. MTV will receive an equity stake in the company and a share of revenue from downloadable music sales.
