After 15 years in consumer goods marketing, David Cohen decided the time had come for a radical change.

The 39-year-old veteran of such personal care giants as Johnson & Johnson and Unilever was recently appointed VP-marketing at supplyForce.com, an online seller of industrial and construction supplies based in King of Prussia, Pa.
