Early returns mixed for weeklies. (fall 1994 season first-run syndicated programs)

Ratings for first-run syndicated television programs are generally below the 4 rating that is considered minimum for syndicated action program survival. However, some shows are matching the ratings of the shows that were in their time slots in 1993. The top first-run syndicated show is Paramount Domestic Television's supernatural show Sightings, which has a 4.0 rating and a 10 share for the first two weeks of the season.
