FSB.COM To Be Integrated Throughout The Netbusiness Service
FSB: Fortune Small Business magazine and Netscape Communications announced today that FSB.com will be integrated
The move is the latest step by the two AOL Time Warner properties to work together to provide small businesses with an exceptional source of news and information.
Beginning today, the wide range of robust content from FSB will be integrated throughout Netscape Netbusiness, providing visitors to Netbusiness with a broad array of breaking news, polls, features and profiles, along with columns from popular FSB advisors such as the Answer Men and Net Guys.
Visitors to FSB.com will be redirected to Netscape Netbusiness (http://netbusiness.netscape.com), where they will have direct access to industry-leading tools and services, including the Netbusiness Marketplace, the Netbusiness Card and a wealth of industry-specific and community-based resources and content from other Netbusiness partners.
Hank Gilman, managing editor of FSB, said, "We're excited to be bringing together the best of both worlds with Netscape Netbusiness by combining leading content with comprehensive Internet tools and services for small businesses. The strength and reach of the Netscape brand will substantially increase our presence online, at the same time giving our readers the best small business related information and resources available online."
Fred Singer, SVP of AOL Interactive Services and General Manager of Netscape Netbusiness, said, "With this move, we are expanding our relationship with FSB and furthering our common goal to provide small businesses with the best resources to help them succeed in today's economy. By combining the editorial quality and expertise of Fortune Small Business, with Netbusiness's content, commerce and community--in a single location--we are serving the needs of small businesses in a more effective and efficient way."
FSB is currently working with Netbusiness to produce special daily content packages and Web editorial features for the service that will focus on key small business issues. Much of this content will be distributed across other AOL Time Warner Internet properties, further extending FSB's reach.
Recent FSB-produced features and packages on Netbusiness address such issues as retirement reform, employee retention, influential small business insiders in Washington, D.C. and the lending process.
Netbusiness offers an array of easy-to-use and customized information, productivity and communications tools that benefit small businesses and entrepreneurs at every stage of development - from creating and operating the enterprise, to marketing and selling their products and services, to building and strengthening relationships with consumers and other businesses.
In addition, the Netbusiness Marketplace offers a global e-commerce network, linking hundreds of communities and marketplaces, where small, medium and large businesses can buy, sell and interact online.
