Alcatel boasts about Brazil ADSL.(Brazil)(Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line)(Brief Article)

Alcatel announced that the company ended 2004 as the main ADSL (Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line) supplier for Telefonica in Brazil. In 2004, 214,000 lines were shipped to the operator.

When also taking into account the previous years, Alcatel has already shipped 525,000 DSL lines for Telefonica in Brazil, and consolidated itself as the operator's leading supplier of this broadband technology.
