Customers will be able to choose from services from leading companies, including EarthLink, Comcast and America Online.

"Office Depot is committed to providing our customers with the tools they need to be successful. We are pleased to offer customers in our retail stores the opportunity to select the broadband service that best meets their needs," noted Mike Dietrich, Vice President of Technology at Office Depot. "Few technologies offer more benefits to our customers than a broadband connection, and nothing makes it easier to understand and easier to buy than the BroadbandCompass(TM)."

"DigiTerra Broadband's technology is all about providing value-add to retailers, providers and end-users alike, so we are thrilled to be working with Office Depot to enable the sale of broadband," added Karl Denzer, Vice President at DigiTerra. "Office Depot understands the value DigiTerra Broadband brings in terms of normalizing data and processes across providers, supporting real-time transactions and, ultimately, deploying customized solutions at a low cost."

Through the use of DigiTerra's BroadbandCompass(TM), Office Depot will sell EarthLink High Speed Internet services in all Office Depot stores where EarthLink provides coverage. Trained Office Depot employees will provide demonstrations and assist customers in purchasing decisions to ensure that they select the best service that is right for them.

In addition, with the use of BroadbandCompass(TM), Office Depot will also be able to offer Comcast High-Speed Internet service at Office Depot locations throughout Comcast's 26-state service area. Office Depot and Comcast have worked together to develop a point-of-sale presence at nearly one hundred of the Office Depot's stores nationwide. Customers visiting these select locations can now check availability of the service to their home and purchase a modem and self-installation kit.

Added Dietrich, "Our customers are passionate about cutting-edge technology. Partnering with Comcast will help us offer even more options to our customers and demonstrates our commitment to being the most compelling place to shop and the destination of choice for small business customers."
