BOSTON -- Yankee Group today announced that Vince Vittore, former Executive Editor of Telephony magazine, has joined Yankee Group as a senior analyst, effective April 19, 2006. As a senior analyst within Yankee Group's Broadband Access Technologies Team, Vittore will specialize in IPTV and

Vittore has more than 16 years of experience in the communications technology field. At Telephony, Vittore was responsible for coverage of all access technologies in both the print magazine as well as for telephonyonline.com. He focused on topics and issues related to Network Access, CPE and the IPTV market. He was also a regular contributor to Wireless Review and headed up Telephony's Access Edge e-newsletter. Additionally, he served as editor of The Independent, a regular supplement to Telephony focused on the rural telco market. Prior to Telephony, Vittore was an editor with Cable World magazine.
