Free Internet Cartoons Teach Children To Read At SillyBooks.net.

LAS VEGAS -- SillyBooks.net has launched a free website that promises to make reading fun.

"Sesame Street started with a simple idea: make learning fun," says SillyBooks' president and children's book author, Roger Carr. "SillyBooks.net started with a simple idea, too.

Make learning to read fun. For the past three years we've been developing animated musical cartoon books that give children a head start on reading. Bandwidth finally caught up with the web, enabling us to share our books with schools and families."

Children love these animated songbooks. Parents and teachers can sit with their children and watch them discover the joy and wonder of reading.

There are hundreds of animated books in rotation at http://www.sillybooks.net. And new books are added every month. Navigation is simple. Kids choose a book cover, click on the colorful picture and watch the cartoon. All have moving pictures and are read aloud by professional actors, complete with award winning music, sound effects and voices.

The books come to life while capturing the imagination of young readers. It is easy for kids to follow along because words highlight as they are read aloud. And when a child comes to the first grade knowing how to sound out words, they have a huge head start. It is a great learning tool for English as a Second Language as well as Special Education kids.

Whether it is before, during or after school, in the classroom or at home, SillyBooks.net is an interactive, safe and nurturing environment where kids between the ages of 2-10 can have fun learning.

Today's children are comfortable entertaining themselves with all kinds of modern technology. Using this technology to effect positive change, SillyBooks.net found a way to show children how much fun it can be to read.
