ICT GROUP Expands Its E-Solutions Product OfferingWith the Addition of Intelligent E-Mail...

LANGHORNE, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 29, 1999--

ICT GROUP, INC. (NASDAQ:ICTG), announced today the expansion of its E-Solutions product offering to include intelligent automated e-mail processing.

Intelligent e-mail, the second service to be added to ICT GROUP's E-Solutions

package, compliments ICT NET2TEL.com(SM), a Web enabled call center technology providing simultaneous voice and data interface. Both services are designed to bring the power of live operator customer support for sales and service to the Internet.

The fully integrated e-mail processing solution allows for: 1) real-time custom e-mail responses by trained customer sales and service representatives (CSRs); 2) automatic acknowledgement and prioritization of e-mail messages, and 3) automatic response messaging, utilizing key phrases without requiring the intervention of a live operator.

The back-end system used for this service is Internet Message Center (IMC), provided by Mustang Software, Inc. (NASDAQ:MSTG).

John J. Brennan, ICT GROUP's Chairman and CEO, stated, "We are aggressively expanding our E-Solutions product offering to provide clients with real-time, consistently superior customer support for Internet sales and service applications. The intelligent e-mail product, ICT GROUP's second venture in offering E-Solutions that marry the Web to the call center, represents our continued investment in and commitment to an alternative, expanded forum for one to one marketing."

According to Tim Kowalski, ICT GROUP's Chief Information Officer and Senior Vice President of Systems and Technology, "We are building a total E-Solutions package to provide the human touch necessary for the real-time customer service increasingly being demanded by online customers. Automated intelligent e-mail and ICT NET2TEL.com, both fully integrated with ICT GROUP's call centers, provide for a true multi-media contact center capable of servicing requests received via e-mail, the Internet, an inbound 800 telephone number, fax, or even white mail."

Integretel, Inc., a San Jose, CA, based telecom billing solutions company, has chosen to implement intelligent e-mail processing services as an extension of its existing customer care service contract with ICT GROUP.

The same team of highly skilled, dedicated agents handling telephone inquiries for Integretel will also be responding to the billing inquiries mailed from its Web site, www.integretel.com.

Integretel provides billing solutions to the traditional, Internet, wireless, and Next-Gen telecom markets by specializing in local exchange carrier (LEC) billing and collection services for the more than 1,300 LECs in North America, direct convergent billing, and electronic bill presentment and payment (EBPP).

Jim Harrer, Mustang Software's President and CEO, commented, "We are delighted to be working with ICT GROUP to help them expand their E-Solutions offering. As the Internet continues to grow in popularity, businesses need to extend their customer service and support initiatives to include e-mail and Web-based services to remain competitive. By integrating IMC into its E-Solutions package, ICT GROUP can now offer its clients the ability to go beyond the traditional support of product, community, and information, and deliver on the promise of service over the Internet."

Mustang Software delivers creative e-mail management solutions through a combination of the company's innovative products and services, its extensive e-mail management experience and expertise, and alliances with leading companies involved in the technologies that enable Internet commerce.
