The low-priced (SRP 69.00 USD) and user friendly Hi-Phone Ch@t(TM) will be introduced at Communications Solution Expo in Washington, D.C. (May 23-25, 2001). For consumer convenience, it has been bundled with a leading ITSP service for high-quality, cost effective worldwide Internet calls. VoIP calls can also be made over LAN, WAN, and other ITSPs using most types of Internet connections, i.e. xDSL, cable, and dialup.

The Hi-Phone Ch@t(TM) has been ergonomically designed for comfort and ease of use while maintaining the familiar touch and feel of a regular telephone set with mute and redial keys. It generates a dial tone, and like cell phones, offers a choice of ringing melodies for incoming IP calls. Up/down, send and hotkey buttons, as well as a dual color LED indicator, have been comfortably placed on the Hi-Phone Ch@t(TM) for enhanced human interface. All keys can be customized for OEMs and system integrators.
