Dear Ed:

I'm so relieved. There is sanity in the ad world.

I wasn't sure until I read your editorial in December's AdMedia; I thought the whole industry had lost its mind after the 42 Below fiasco.

Now I don't drink (I know, shocking) but I loved the 42 Below ad. It was the best

laugh I'd had in a long time, and I would proudly play it to anyone who wants to find out about Kiwi culture and humour.

The Advertising Standards Complaints Board should kick back and have a drink. In moderation, of course.

So good on you - you non-senile voice of sanity, you!
