In order to be sensitive to our customers, the small businesses and startups, we have morphed a bit over the last few months. Instead of offering constructive advice in public about how a site can improve its online sales and marketing, we now only give this type of advice privately. It helps the small biz owner more to receive those ideas one-on-one.
In addition, we decided that we would highlight the startups and companies that were shaking up a market, or creating something new, something that most people would see as truly innovative or fun or revolutionary in some way.

As a merchant, there are even bigger opportunities. You can choose to private label a card with your brand and allow your customers to combine their cards, but have your logo, your brand in front of them every day. Talk about share-of-wallet.
I can see this working well for retailers who want to team up with one another and put their programs or strip mall on a card. I can also see where a realtor or broker might want to "sponsor" a card and be more visible in their prospect’s day. There is also a revenue opportunity to become a sales agent.
