I lived with Ping-Pong and her family in Thailand in 1987 as an exchange student and now, after just finishing a year as a nun in a Burmese monastery, I've returned for a visit. Each day as I wait for my family to return from work, I take an expedition. I explore my native country's influence as it manifests on this Asian landscape.
