Hasbro and Toys "R" Us to Launch BEYBLADE Rip Zones

To celebrate the legions of BEYBLADE fans popping up everywhere, Hasbro and Toys "R" Us will host "BEYBLADE Rip Zone" events at 200 selected Toys "R" Us stores across the country this spring and summer. These events will give kids a place for organized BEYBLADE play, so that they can compete with their BEYBLADE tops and sharpen their skills and strategies. Kids will also get a chance to preview new BEYBLADE products due out this fall, including the BEYBLADE remote control top with launcher.

"With five million tops sold, it's clear that kids in this country have caught BEYBLADE fever, and these events at Toys "R" Us will answer the call of an enthusiastic community of players who already love to compete with BEYBLADE."
The free "BEYBLADE Rip Zone" events begin on April 12th and will take place once a month (the second Saturday of every month) through October at participating Toys "R" Us locations. Toys "R" Us will promote these events via in store flyers, radio spots, and on the web.
